Our Mission

Our mission is to ensure that advancements in fields such as blockchain and artificial intelligence serve the greater good and that public policy evolves to meet the challenges and opportunities these technologies present. By uniting experts, policymakers, and the public, we champion forward-thinking, ethical policies that address the societal impacts of technological innovation.

Grants

DSF issues grants to organizations and individuals aligned with its mission to promote digital sovereignty and responsible innovation. Grant funds may be used to support the development of public educational materials, convene conferences or workshops, or pilot new technologies that improve transparency, inclusion, or regulatory compliance in the decentralized ecosystem. DSF also supports initiatives like the Stablecoin Forum, a standards-setting effort inspired by NACHA’s work with ACH, to help shape safe, interoperable payment infrastructure. All grants and supported projects are carefully reviewed to ensure consistency with DSF’s public benefit mission and IRS 501(c)(3) compliance.

Education

Education is at the core of DSF’s work. We produce and distribute accessible content to help individuals, institutions, and governments understand decentralized technologies and their implications for finance, governance, and society. Educational programming includes publications, in-person and virtual workshops, and open-access curriculum. In 2025, DSF is collaborating with Harvard Business School to deliver a series of four virtual case study courses taught by HBS professors. These sessions will explore real-world stories from across the crypto and AI landscape, designed to bring world-class business education to diverse audiences globally.

The Digital Sovereignty Foundation (DSF) is a U.S.-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing public knowledge, policy development, and ethical deployment of decentralized technologies, including blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3 innovations, and artificial intelligence. DSF's mission is to promote innovation, transparency, regulatory compliance, and digital sovereignty for the public good.
